Bank Opens Eight New ATMs at
Mineta San José International Airport
SAN JOSE, CA – Travelers at Mineta San José
International Airport (SJC) now have access to eight new US Bank automatic
teller machines located throughout the terminals as a result of an agreement
approved by the San José City Council in December 2008.
The new ATMs are part of the airport’s overall modernization project currently underway that also will include new shops and restaurants as part of a comprehensive new concession program that will improve customer services and amenities over the next two years.
The dedication of the new machines took place with a ribbon cutting today [Wednesday, January 21, 2009] with bank and airport officials, and US Bank celebrated by offering a “cash grab” at the new ATM by an SJC passenger selected in a random drawing. Under the agreement, US Bank now operates all the ATMs at SJC, consolidating the airport’s previous arrangements with several different financial services. The ATMs are conveniently located throughout the airport at sites both pre-security and post-security, and provide a full range of services for both passengers and people working at airport, including cash withdrawals and stamp purchases. US Bank has a significant presence at many airports located throughout the nation, including ATMs and branches located at Portland International Airport, Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Cleveland International Airport, and several other regional airports. |
New Hampshire residents Ethan Doubleday and Karen Everett were the lucky winners in the US Bank “money grab” celebrating the installation of new ATMs at Mineta San Jose International Airport. Under a recent agreement between US Bank and SJC, the bank now operates all eight ATMs located conveniently through the airport’s terminals. |
